Sai Baba – The Divine Fakir of Shirdi

The name “Sai” means “The one who is Divine.” It was Mahalsapati, the temple priest of Shirdi, who first addressed him as Sai, recognizing his extraordinary spiritual aura. Revered as a saint, fakir, and divine figure, Shirdi Sai Baba has touched countless lives through his miracles and teachings.

Sai Baba is said to have performed many miraculous acts — healing the sick, reviving the dead, lighting lamps with water instead of oil, and foretelling future events. These divine deeds have inspired deep faith among his devotees and continue to draw people from all backgrounds seeking his blessings.

Living a life of simplicity, Sai Baba resided in Shirdi as a fakir, surviving on alms and meditating for hours under a sacred neem tree. He remained detached from material possessions and devoted himself to the upliftment of humanity. His teachings emphasized the unity of all religions, the oneness of God, and a moral path grounded in love, compassion, forgiveness, selflessness, contentment, and devotion to one’s Guru and God.

Olst Shirdi Sai Baba Temple – A Spiritual Haven in the Netherlands

The Olst Shirdi Sai Baba Temple is the first temple in the Netherlands dedicated to Sai Baba. Just a five-minute walk from the Olst train station, this sacred space offers devotees a powerful experience of Baba’s divine presence through his beautifully installed idol.

What makes this temple truly unique is the opportunity to also have darshan of Ram Lala (Lord Ram in his child form) — making it the first temple outside India to house Ram Lala after the historic Shri Ram Mandir in Ayodhya. Alongside Sai Baba and Ram Lala, devotees can also worship Hanumanji and Shivji, uniting the energies of devotion, strength, and divine protection in one sacred place.

Attending puja and aarti here, surrounded by fellow devotees, is a deeply moving and spiritual experience — one that fills the heart with peace, joy, and connection to the divine.

"I WILL DRAG YOU LIKE A SPARROW" (SHIRDI SAI BABA)

BABA HAS PROMISED THAT HE WILL DRAG HIS DEVOTEES LIKE A SPARROW AND NOBODY CAN STOP HIM, SO IT HAPPENED  with MRS. SREEKRUPA SASSTRY FROM WASHINGTON DC, MARYLAND (U.S.A.)
God’s Miracle in Sai Mandir Olst on 20 September 2016
Here is a story of a woman (Mrs. Sreekrupa Sastry) of Indian origin from Washington D.C.

She called Sai Mandir Olst from Washington D.C., USA on Monday 19th of september 2016 as she badly wanted to have Sai Darshan and wanted to know if the Mandir was open the next day. She had a dream where Baba told her to come to Olst, The Netherlands. She had never heard about Sai Mandir Olst. So she checked it up on internet and yes! The Mandir existed. Fortunately I had picked up the phone and said that the Mandir was open only on high light days or in the weekends especially on Sundays. The lady was eager to come as soon as possible and could not wait until Sunday and requested me if she could come the next day Tuesday 20th of September. She said she would take a direct flight from Washington DC to Amsterdam just te have Baba’s Darshan and fly back the next day. I was surprised and could not believe if this was true. I thought it was a joke or someone was trying to fool me. I shared my mobile number with her and forgot the whole matter. The next day I received an e-mail from her and yes ! she had taken the flight to Amsterdam and was on the train to Olst. I received update messages from her duringher journey in the train to Olst
